District Academic Grading Scale
PreK report card are now based on Mastery of Concepts:
A check mark in an area denotes proficiency on or above level.
Unmarked areas ( - ) denote non-mastery.
"E" = "EXCEEDS Expectations"
An "E" is earned when a child consistently behaves ABOVE grade level expectations...He/She requires few reminders to make appropriate behavior choices.
"S" = "Satisfactory"
An S is earned when a child is MEETING grade level expectations for behavior. He/She is performing well.
"N" = "Needs Improvement"
An "N" is earned when a child's behavior is NOT meeting grade level expectations. He/She is having some difficulty following classroom directions, rules and routines.
"U" = "Unsatisfactory"
A "U" is earned when a child's behavior falls FAR BELOW grade level expectations. He/She is experiencing great difficulty in following directions, rules and routines.
